The Collision off Sydney /reads
TIIE VICTORIAN PARLIAMENT
Router’s Telegrams. The second schooner which was in the collision at tho Heads last night was not seriously injured, and proceeded on her voyage to Newcastle where she arrived this morning. Melbourne, May 20.
The Victorian Parliament meets on the 7th June. Tho measures to bo submitted by the Government include amendments in tho laws relating to tiro public service, education, health, factories, and local Government. Parliament will also bo asked to deal with tho establishment of a metropolitan Board of Works and tho formation of a Military Educational College. Messrs Goldsborough and Co limited, report having sold to a powerful London Company Mr C. B. Fisher’s station property consisting of about twenty-four million acres of leasehold land, the leases, for which have 18 years yet to run, and forty thousand acres of freehold, together with 25,000 head of cattle, 600 horses, several steamers, and a large working plant. The carrying capibilities of the estate are estimated at one million head of cattle or the equivalent in sheep for which the country is well adopted.
