MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Blenheim, as under: — Saturday, May 21. For Greymouth direct per ss Maori at 9.30 a.m. For Wellington, northern and southern ports and Australian Colonies, per s.s. Kanieri at 7 p m. Monday, May 23. For Nelson and West Coast ports, per s.s. Penguin at 3,15 p.m. Tuesday, May 24. The Post office will be closed, being the Queen’s Birthday The Telegraph Branch will open from 9 a.m. till 10 a.m., and from 7 p.m. till 8 p in., and the Telephone Exchange will lie open as usual from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. All mails generally despatched on Tuesday will close on Monday evening, 23rd inst., at 8 p.m., and there will on that evening he a delivery from 7 till 8 p,in., of correspondence generally taken out by the letter carrier. For Wellington and southern ports per ss Penguin at 8 p m. Wednesday, May 25. For Nelson, West Coast ports, New Plymouth ami Auckland perss Hawcaat 3.15 p.m. Thursday, May 26 a For Wellington southern ports, and Australian Colonies, per s.s.
