(Per Press Association). Nelson, Jan 19 Amelia McGee, wife of Alex. McGee, formerly a billiard-marker at Wellington was charged before Mr Oswald Curtis, R.M.,on Monday, with unlawfully, and maliciously setting fire to a’dwelling house in Tasman-street on the 12th inst., certain persons'being therein. Mr Charles Barley appeared for the accused. The house was the property of Mr William Evans a gardener. After taking a quantitv of evidence,the accused was commiteed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court.
