RIFLE ASSOCIATION MEETING.
(Per Press Association.) Wanganui, Jan. 5, Respecting the New Zealand Rifle Association Meeting at Christchurch next month, the Couucil have dedided that it would not be advisable to allow Rifle Clubs to oompete in the team matches In all comers matches and in respect to teut accommodation, civilians will be placed ouan equality witbJVoluuteers. As there is no accommodation near the ground competitors have to go into camp, Government supplying tents as usual, Arrangements will be made for meeting similar to the Wanganui meeting. Efforts are being made to secure reductions in fares between Wellington and Lyttelton. The camp will be ready on Saturday, February 20. Kynoch’s 18S6 ammunition will be used, and coloring matter of any kind will be allowed on foresight, and reserved bar with one line on backsight,
