THE WELLINGTON MARKET. Wellington, Wednesday. Messrs Laery and Campbell report produce and fruit sales as follows Oats, steady at 2a 7d to 2a 9d ; wheat, scarce at 4$ 6d to 4s 9d for good samples, and for inferior 4s to 4s 3d ; barley, good demand 2a 9d to 3s ; maiae, plentiful at 3a 6d to 3a 9d; a parcel of pearl barley waa quitted at Ll 4 10s during the week ; oatmeal still fetches Ll2 10a to Ll 3 ; flour, unaltered at Lll to LIl 10s according to brand. New potatoes on Saturday last advanced to l|d to l£d, owing to limited supplies; old potatoes are realising from 35s to 40s per ton, bat are all picked over at that, and the supply, unfortunately for holders, is unlimited; pine applas are slow of sale at 39 to 5a 6d per doz ; bananas a* high at 7f 6d per bunch ; peanuts, 3d to 3|d per pound; cocoanuta, 9s per sack; preserved bananas at 8d per pound are finding favor in the market, so also are the Anglo-Scandinavian? milk sales beginning to increase. ■Tolinsonville, report for Wednesiay, 17th November : —There was a full market, prices of all descriptions of stock were lower than at our last Bales ; the cattle were not up in quality to those sold at | our last sales ; sheep were of good quality throughout, though chiefly ewes. Pigs were in over supply, about 300 being varded, and prices were at much lower valaps. Quotations are :—Ballocka, L 6 15s to L 7 17s 6d~; cows, L4ss to L 5 ; ewes and wethers mixed, 8s lOd to 10s ; fat lambs, 7s 6d; pigs, porkers, 25s to 31s 6 1 ; Btores,93 to 10a 6d.
