The cricket match Shaw and Lillywhito’s team v an Eleven of Victoria was resumed to-day. Thu homo Jleam, who yesterday lost 4 wickets for 204 runs, continued their innings, the last wicket falling for 329 runs. M'Shane contributed Go, caught, and Horan, not out, 117. Tho English team then went to the wickets and at tho conclusion of the day’s play list! lost one wicket for 73 runs, Bur'ow being not out with 27. R ceived Nov, 10, at 1.30 a.m. Melbourne, Nov, 9.

The cricket match, Shaw and Lillywhite’s team v. an Eleven of Victoria, was continued to-day. Tile Englishmen, who yesterday lost one wicket for 73 runs, resumed the innings, and when stumps were drawn had lost 7 wickets for 333 runs. Harlow contributed 88, not. out : Gunn, bowled, 47; Flowers, not out, 51. WAIRAU 0. C. v. PICTON C. C. A match was phyed on the Wairau (Hub’s ground between the above clubs, which resulted in a disgraceful thrashing for the Wairau Club, their opponents heating them by an innings and 41 runs.
