LEOS is a Chestnut six years old, standing over 10 hands in height, with gnat bone and power. Got by Leolinus, out of Petmleuee, by Oxford, out of Hartshorn, by the Touohs one horse, Mountaia Dter. Oxford the sire of Sterling, whose f.et Isonomy, was the best horse in England. Leolinus (himself a grand performer) is by the Stockwell hot se, Caterer, from Tasmania, who is by Melbourne. It will thus be seen that this horse combints in a narked degree those strains of blood now so much sought for by English breeders. Apart from bis other performances, Leos won the Dunedin Suburban Welton.
