No fewer than nine boys, of ages varying from nine to fourteen years we;e charged with larceny at the Magistrates Court to-d-v. Five of them were convicted three discharged, and one remauded. Another boy, si.Reen years old, was chrrged with perjury, ana a young man, named Ellesmere Godwin was accused of suborning perjmy. Itis alleged that Godwin bad offered the lad L 3 to make statements pow admitted to have been false, in order to clear Godwin from responsibility in an affiliation case.
