(Per United Press Association ) Auckland. Sept. 80. A man named Stuart Jamieson, sn oysterman at Onehunga, has been missing, The body was found at Week’s Island in the Manukau, Oct. 1. A verdiot of “ found drowned ” with no marks of violence was returned in the case of Steward Jambson, the fisherman drowned at the Maowkau harbor. Wellington, Oct, J. Information has been received that the steamer Lyttelton, bound from Ferntown to Wellington, was wracked on a reef near the Beef Barrels. The crew were picked up and taken on to Nelson by the steamer Murray. The Lyttelton is a steamer of 86 tons, and commanded by Captain Forbes. She is owned in W ellington, No further particulars are to hand. Later. The steamer Lytteltoa wrecked at tho Beef Barrels last night, is owned io Wellington by Messrs W. and G. Turnbull and Co., and is insured ia the Colonial In* aurance Company for L2OOO, re-imured as follows :—L2SO in the New Zealand ; L 250 in the Victoria ; L 250 in the Australian Mutual. The lire stock was insnred for L 250 in the Standard and LSOO in the Batavia office. Nelson, Oc\ 1. The Lyttelton sank in ten minutes in deep water completely out of light. The captain and crew took to the boats, and went to the French Pass, and were picked up by the steamer Murray, and brought to Nelson this morning, The official enquiry takes place to-morrow,
