IN accordance with Clause 17 of “The Rating Act 1882,” it is hereby notified that it is the intention of the Wairau Road Board to make a Rate of one halfpenny in the £ upon the values of the Rateable Property appearing on the Valuation Roll now in force for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1883, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1881, payable on the Ist day of September, 1883, and that the Rate Book is open for inspection at the office of the Secretary between the hours of 10 a.in. and 1 p.tn. until the Ist of September.
