OTIC HI is hereby given that the Defendant in the above cause could not be found, and that copies of a summons requiring his attendance at the Warden’s Court, to be holden at Havelock, on the 31st day of August, 1882, to answer the following complaints, viz.,—(l,) That the defendant is the holder of the following registered rights: a water-race at Stringer’s Beach, Wakamarina, a tail race dam bank and reservoir, and an extended area, all situate at Dead Horse Terraco, Wakamarina; (2) That the said rights have been abandoned for more than the space of one calendar month; (3.) That the defendant is not a miner within the meaning of “ The Mines Act, 1877 have been left for such defendant at Stringer’s Beach and Dead Horse Terrace aforesaid, by posting a copy of the same in a conspicuous place in [and upon the said water-race, toil-race, dam-bank, and reservoir, and [extended area, on the 19th day of August, 1882, at the hour of 11 o’clock in the forenoon.
