AUSTRALIANS AT HOME.
THE CRICKETERS. (By Cai;lb.) London', May 19. In the cricket match which is now proceeding at .Brighton between the Australians and the Sussex Eleven, the former have concluded their first innings for a total of C IS. May 20. The Sussex .Eleven in their second scored 1 9.‘! runs, and the Australians thus won the match by one innings and bob runs. Palmer and Clarrett bowled splendidly for the Australians. The Times to-day, in a leading article, welcomes the Australian cricketers to England, and says that their success should stimulate Englishmen to improve their play.
