MILLIONS OF POUNDS IN CARS
It was recently revealed in London that the new motor-cars for delivery by the Austin Company during the company’s current season were valued at £13,000,000, of which £12,500,000 were for export. The Morris organisation had also contracts for new automobiles valued at about £14,000,000. These figures indicate the extent of j the growth of some of England’s l automobile-manufacturing plants. The British motor industry is . now ' ex-j porting a greater percentage of its output than is any other nation, • evidence that the manufacturers in j Britain are now better meeting the needs of automobile owners in the Dominions and other phrts of the world. !
