OBITUARY
* MU. DAVID HOLMES A former' well-known Matamata farmer, Mr. David Ferris Holmes, aged 48 years, collapsed while attending the Te Aroha races on Saturday and died in the Waikato Hospital yesterday. Mr. Holmes/farmed at Taihoa for a number of years before disposing of his property to Mr. W. M. Thornton. In recent years Mr. Holmes had resided at Tauranga. The funeral will take place at Matamata to-morrow.
