REGENT, MATAMATA To-night (Monday), Gary Cooper and Claudette Colbert will star in the comedy-hit of the year, “ Bluebeard’s Eighth Wife.” Cooper takes the role of a multi-millionaire with seven matrimonial adventures to his credit, while Miss Colbert portrays his tempestuous French wife, who determines that she will be the eighth and last.. On Tuesday and Wednesday “ Tall Timbers,” with Shirley Ann Richards and Frank Leighton starring, will be screened. This is the biggest production from Australia so far, and is filmed in Nature’s stronghold—the Valley of the Giants. A magnificent Australian romance and fast-moving action are cleverly combined In this production.
