OBITUARY
MRS. H. McD. LLOYD The death occurred suddenly in a Matamata private hospital early on Thursday morning of Mrs. Helen McDonald Lloyd, aged 34 years, wife of Mr. Richard Herbert Lloyd, farmer, of Tower road, Matamata. A few hours previous to her death Mrs. Lloyd had attended a Matamata social function, at which she was taken ill. She had been in ill-health for some time. Mrs. Lloyd was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Frederick Newland, of Kopu, Thames, and was married at Thames 14 years ago. She is survived by her husband, there being no children. The funeral took place at Thames on Friday.
