MATAMATA DRUIDS
INSTALLATION CEREMONY The installation of officers of the Matamata Druids’ Lodge took place on Tuesday, when there was one of the biggest attendances of members and visitors in the history of the lodge. The installing officer, was the District President, Bro. Pat Leonard, of v Te Aroha, and the officers installed were as follows: A.D., Bro. R. D. Henry; V.A.D., Bro. W. J'. Thomas; M.C., Sister I. Prowse; 1.G., Bro. L. R. Phillips; 0.G., Sister E. Thomas; A.D.B.’s, Bros. W. H. Atkins and L. E. Jordan; V.A.B.’s, Bros. L. Libeau and M. F. Smith.
An interesting and noteworthy feature of the installation was the presentation of a collar and diploma to Sister M. K. Dunsford, of Morrinsvilie, who is the first woman Arch Druid of the lodge. After the installation ceremony members foregathered in the Kensington for a social evening. , :
