A motion of sympathy was passed at the July meeting of the Biakp County Council with Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Mears, of Walton, in the death of their daughter, Mrs. J. Lees. A similar vote of sympathy was passed at the meeting of the executive of the Morrinsville A. and P. Society, of which Mr. Mears has been a member and exhibitor for many years.
