MORRINSVILLE A WIN The Morrinsville Badminton Club had its first win of the season on Monday evening when Morrinsville A beat West End by 10 games to 2. Following are results, Morrinsville names first:— Ladies’ Doubles.— Mrs. Milburn and Miss N. Ryan beat Miss P. Sorby and Mrs. Boden, 21—7; and beat Misses E. Green and P. Rogers, 21—12. Misses V. Johnsorr and B. Johnston beat Miss Sorby and Mrs. Boden, 21—19; and beat Misses Green and Rogers, 21—14. Men’s Doubles. — C. Mallett and W. Kerr beat Macklow and Owsley, 21 —10; and beat Collins and Dold, 21—14. R. Somers and H. Soanes beat Macklow and Owsley, 21—16; and beat Oollins and Dold, 21—7. Combined Doubles.— Mallett and Mrs. Milburn beat Owsley and Miss .Sorby, 21—20.
Kerr and Miss Ryan lost to Mack* low and Mrs. Boden, 18—21. . Somers ; and Miss V; Johnson * beat Collins .and Miss Rogers, 21—20< Soanes and Miss B. Johnston losfj' to Dold and Miss Green, 9—21./
