ANNUAL TENNIS DANCE Members of. the Okoroire Hall Tennis Club held their annual dance in the hall. There was a fair attendance, including visitors from surrounding districts. During the evening the tennis trophies were presented to the successful competitors. Owing to the absence of the president, Mr. R. After supper opportunity was taken to farewell Messrs. S., A. and Gordon Stephens, who are shortly leaving the district. Mr. Hayes, following a short speech, presented each with a leather wallett as a token of esteem from the members of the Tennis Club. Mr. S. Stephens suitably responded on behalf of his brothers and himself. Orchestral music was provided for the dance, and Miss K. Gallery played an extra.
