Kenneth William McKinney, newly-appointed to the pastoral charge of the Tirau and Putaruru district. The solemn ceremony, with the stirring accompanying addresses, interspersed with hymn and prayer, was followed by speeches of welcome from both Tirau and Putaruru members of the congregation, and also representatives of other denominations. The ceremony, according to the Presbyterian formula, was performed by the Rev. R. J. Griffiths, M.A. (Paeroa), Moderator of the Presbytery, and the sermon was delivered by the Rev. C. L.
