Within the next few weeks about 150,000 store sheep will come from the East Coast to Waikato.. The majority of these will be marketed at Morrinsville.

A ranch to rear domesticated moose has been started at Brule, in Jasper Park, Alberta, by Major Fred Brewster, aTtocky Mountain guide and rancher. According to him, the moose is the natural beast of burden in many ..parts of Canada. It is strong and can be ridden and driven,.

Mr. A. H. Grigg, who has been On the staff of Watts and Brayshaw, Ltd., Morrinsville,..for• the past 12 years, has resigned to : take' up an appointment in the hardware depart-, ment of the Farmers’ Auctioneering Co.; Ltd., Matamata. Mr. Grigg left Morrinsville during the week-end. Prior to his departure he was presented with a fountain pen by the staff of Watts and Brayshaw, Ltd.
