Mr. and Mrs. Pollock and their two children, of Christchurch, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Bell at their summer residence, Tauranga. Mrs. N. Underwood is spending the New Year with her mother in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Hay and family have been away at their bach at Ngongotaha. Mr. and Mrs. N. Boucher, Okoroire, are visiting Mrs. A. Boucher, senr., at her summer cottage, Lake Rotoiti, Rotorua. Mr. and Mrs. Barnes and family spent the holidays at their bach in Ngongotaha. , Mrs. C. Lawford, of Auckland,eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. Banks, and husband, have just sailed for an extended tour of England. Miss M. Robinson, late of Matamata, spent the Christmas and New Year holidays at Brents, Rotorua* Mrs. Driver and her two daughters are spending a few -weeks at Mt. Eden.
Mr. and Mrs. F. Holmes are visiting Hamilton to attend the w.edding of their nephew, Mr. Ci : -Holmes. Mrs. G. Hawes is spending a fortnight in Auckland. i/v.:,; , Miss tL Hawes is holidaying round the H&uraki Gulf. Rev. and Mrs; A. Blakemore are on holidays at Rotorua.
