ON THE SCREEN.
MATAMATA REGENT. To-night for the final time at the Regent, Matamata, Evelyn Laye will be seen and heard in “ One Heavenly Night.” “ Drums of Jeopardy,” with Warner Oland, will also be shown. A new comedy drama, “ Big Money,” a thrilling picture of Wall street and the underworld, will be on view to-morrow (Friday). Eddie Quillan and Miriam Seegar are featured in the leading roles. Robert Armstrong and James Gleason also have strong parts in this absorbing picture. There are many thrilling scenes and an abundance of fine
comedy. On Saturday and Monday Richard Barthelmess will be seen in “ The Cabin in the Cotton,” a picture rich in historical values. Vivid drama vies with light-hearted comedy—stark tragedy with the gaiety and song of the southland. The supporting Barthelmess includes Bette Davis and Dorothy Jordan.
