Surprise Party.
On Wednesday evening about 30 people comprised a surprise party which visited Mrs. and Miss W. McMillan, of Waharoa. Games and dancing were enjoyed, and the following items were popular : Songs, Mrs. H. Salter; duet, Messrs. T. Walker and H. Salter; trio, Misses G. and E. Walker and J. Salter. Visitors were present from Matamata and Morrinsville. Before the conclusion of the evening Mr. B. O’Neill thanked Mrs. and Miss McMillan for their hospitality. The singing of “ Auld Lang Syne ” concluded a happy evening.
