INTER-CLUB MATCH.

Morrinsville Beat Rocky Downs.

The week-end match between Morrinsville and Rocky Downs, played on the Morrinsville links, resulted in a win for the home club. Of the nine games in the morning, Morrinsville won six, lost two, while one was all square. In the afternoon Morrinsville won 10 games and Rocky Downs six. Results were (Morrinsville names mentioned first): — Morning Round. Ryan and Davies beat Little and Wallace, 4 and 3. Needham and Seifert beat Keeley and Mentiplay, 2 up. Jackson and Wood versus Corbett and Hemphill, all square. Martin and N. Howie beat Allan and Carruthers, junior, 3 and 2. Petry and Lee beat N. Johnston and T. Thompson, 1 up. H. Howie and Faulkner beat Cummings and Buckley, 5 and 4. Thorpe and Gould beat Woodhouse and Carruthers, 4 and 3. A. Ryan and Murdock lost to Casey and Wayte, 3 and 2. Cleland lost to Darragh, 1 down.
