Club Chat.

The team which played for the Blyde Cup did very well, finishingsixth with a gross score for six rounds of 575, the winners’ (Hamilton) score being 545. Little and Fitzgerald played well in the foursome, being only beaten by Hamilton and Otorohanga.

Members of the club will be sorry to hear that F. Alquist has undergone another operation, and will not be pfcaying again this season. By defeating J. Corbett in the first round of the senior championship, G. Fitzgerald gained a surprise victory over one of the best match players in the club.

An inter-club match will be played against Waharoa on the 22nd inst, at Waharoa. Owing to Okoroire being unable to field teams both matches against that club have been abandoned.

The junior championship should provide some good even games, but it looks as if Thomson and Buckley will contest the final. On present play the former will be hard to beat.
