OBITUARY.
MRS. SLADE-GULLY. It is with regret that the death is announced of Mrs. Slade-Gully, of Wiltsdown, which occurred in a private hospital in Matamata on Monday evening. Deceased, who was a daughter of Mr. T. N. Broderick, late Under-secretary for the Lands and Survey Department, resided in the district for about. 12 years, and the brave manner in which she faced the drawbacks of a pioneer’s lifjft. earned the admiration of all. Mrs.. Slade-Gully was deservedly popular with all with whom she came in contact. A husband and two sons, aged 10 and 5 years, are left to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother, and to them the sympathy of a host of friends will be extended.
