A NEW BROWN LOAF. Two cups Bisley-s Wholemeal, 2 cups flour, 2 tablespns. golden syrup, 4 teaspns. baking powder, 2 breakfastcups tepid milk and water, salt. Mix syrup into dry ingredients, then make into fairly-stiff dough with milk and water. Bake in small round tins,- leaving plenty of room for rising,, leaving lids on loosely, about U hours. : 7 v This loaf is delicious. For any meal it makes a pleasant change.
