Matamata. Miss C. Delany, of Matamata, is spending a vacation in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Callighan, of Matamata, are on holiday in Auckland. Mrs. G. Stewart spent a recent week-end as the guest of her. sister, Mrs. Walker, Frankton Junction. Mr. and Mrs. H. J, Buckley were the guests of Mr. J. Buckley, Frankton, early last week. Miss Muriel Collison, of Hastings, is the guest of her cousin, Mrs. H. E. Schofield. Mr. J. Davies, of the Matamata post office staff, spent last week-end at Ohaupo. Mrs. Schofield, senior, of Auckland, has returned to her home after a visit to her son and daughter-in-law, I Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Schofield. ! Mr. R. Turnbull, of the Auckland { Savings Bank staff, paid a brief visit to Mr. and Mrs. L. Flower on his return trip from Rotorua last week- j end. • j . Mesdames L. Ryan and H. E. Schofield, president and secretary re- J spectively of the Matamata branch of the Women’s Institute, have returned from Auckland, where they attended the recent conference. . - v # ■ 1 Morrinsville. Miss C. Williams has returned to Morrinsville. Miss D. Buchanan, of Auckland, is on a visit to Morrinsville. Mr. and Mrs. R. Goble have returned from a holiday in Auckland. I Miss Adele Cornish has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Moore and family are leaving for Nelson, where they will make their future home. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. McKay and Miss N. McKay left last evening for the South Island, en ' route to Queenstown, where Mr. McKay will take a solicitor’s practice.
