BIRTHDAY PARTY.

MASTER PHILIP STUBBING. ,The little friends of Master Philip Stubbing were guests at a very enjoyable party given by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Stubbing, at their home in Hohaia street, on Monday afternoon, The occasion was the fourth Anniversary of his birthday. After a jolly time spent , with the young host and his toys on the lawns the happy band of girls and boys, the former wearing dainty pink sun bonnets and the latter black helmets, trooped into tea in the diningroom, which was decorated with gay streamers and balloons. After the splendid cake bearing four bright candles was cut the children returned to their games until it was time to say farewell to their little friends. The guests were : Misses Dora Cranswick, Dawn and Noel Hutchison; Elaine and Fleur Hampton, Joyce Mason, Pat. Simpson, Quona Turner, Jeannette and Natalie Wells, Masters Keith Cowling, Alan and Ronald Howes, Keith Hampton, Ellis McMillan, Rex Taylor, Laurence and Bruce Turtle.
