WALTON.
Social Notes.
On Tuesday a surprise party waited on Mr. and Mrs. Conning and family, who are leaving for Wardville. Games and dancing and social converse passed away a pleasant evening, during the course of which Mr. W. W. KuHtz, on behalf of the friends, made 1 a. presentation to Mr. and Mrs. Conning. He spoke in complimentary terms of the family’s good qualities as residents.
Mr. Conning suitably replied. Mr. and Mrs. J. Dixon were given the usual tintinabulating welcome home on their return from the honeymoon. It is understood that a further expression of goodwill is forthcoming.
