CHILD SEVERELY BURNED.
DOLL BURSTS INTO FLAMES. On Sunday morning a most painful accident occurred at Matamatato a little two-year-old child named Ina Quigg. The girl was warming herself by a fire, when the celluloid doll that she held burst into flame, causing the child’s left arm and fact to be terribly burnt. The flames were quickly extinguished, and it was seen that the child was in a serious condition. She was later removed to the Waikato hospital.
