At the last meeting of the Piako Cricket Association a request from the Manawaru club for a three point win, owing to Waharoa forfeiting their first match of the season, was granted, the reason being that notification of Waharoa’s withdrawal from the competition was not placed ■with the secretary of the association before the date of such match and was not in order.
