HINUERA DAIRY FACTORY.
THE WATER SUPPLY. An Acute Problem. The secretary of the Hinuera Cooperative Dairy Company, Ltd. (Mr. "W. E. Leonard), wrote to the Matamata Town Board in a letter received on Monday night asking what the prospects were of the board being able to supply water to the company’s factory at Hinuera. The problem of a good water supply, free from sand, was most acute.
Members commented that such a supply would require the laying of larger pipes, and the board had no capital for such an outlay. For this and other reasons it would be impracticable to grant the request.
