DAIRY FACTORY RETURNS.
A BIG INCREASE. The dairy factory returns are illuminating as showing the vast increase in production in (lie districts served by the factories mentioned. Tatua factory shows practically 25 per cent increase in its figures for last month as compared with the figures for the corresponding period last year. Norfolk shows well over 50 per cent increase, while Sunny Park shows near 100 per cent increase. Subjoined are the details for October, 1020, the figures for October, 1010, being in parentheses:— TATUA. Milk received 1,929,5061bs (1,575,251 lbs), butter-fat 67,564.2)bs (55,775.01b5), payment £6763 4s 4<l at 2s (£4BBO 10s 9d at Is 0<l), test 3.5 (3.6). NORFOLK. Milk received 1,160,9441bs (797,007lbs), butter-fat 43,178.11bs (28,002.5lbs), payment £4317 13s 10(1 at 2s (£2204 (is 2d at Is Od), lest 3.0 (3.5). SUNNY PARK. Milk received 011,2231bs (491,152Ibs), butter-fat 31,483.1 lbs (16,825.3lbs), payment £3148 6s Id at 2s (£1437 2s Sd at Is 81(1), test 3.4 (3.4).
