MORRINBYILLH. At (lie Fanners' Auctioneering Co.'s s ilo on Friday there was another large yarding, especially of cattle, about 11500 being penned. The dairy market - , was dull. Beef was in good demand, and high prices prevailed for good quality stufi'. The market for two-year-old steers and stores was duller than usual, hut two-year-old heifers sold freely, Tlioro was a short yarding of sheep, and prices were high. Weaner pigs sold high, hut there was a drop in porkeis. Fat steers sold up to £lB 10s, top price being realised by Mr. W. McLean, of Walton. Fat cows 112 2s fid, store cows £7 to £O, 2C steers £'o to £8 3s, It>-months Shorti heifers up to £o 7s (id, yearling steers to £4 10s, dairy cows £lf> to £lO. others £,’» to £l2, 2-year dairy heifers (o £8 Os; shorn wethers up to 88s Od on behalf of Messrs. N. mid H. Howie, owes 31s (3d; good porkers £3 His, weanors £2 10s.
