The United States Department of Agriculture predicts a 1945 wheat production of 1085 million bushels, the largest crop in the nation’s history. In spite of unfavorable weather, the forecast is for an increase of 6,000,000 bushels over the previous peak. The department’s crop board sets down the winter wheat production at 797,255,000 bushels
