ALL PURPOSES APPEAL

HOUSE TO HOUSE CANVASS NEXT WEEK

Commencing on Monday next, 9th March, the local Patriotic Committee are launching their drive for the ‘All Purpose Fund.’ Collectors, who are giving their valued time to this appeal, will be making a house to house, canvass, in an endeavour to contact every person, who in turn, will have an opportunity of giving their donation, thereby assisting in providing comforts for every phase of the fighting forces. With this one huge, effort it is desired to obtain Queenstown’s quota of £750. If this amount is raised by the collectors, which largely depend on the co-operation of everyone, the committee will have fulfilled its monetary obligations for this purpose until the end of September, 1942.
