MINING JOTTINGS.
The Golden Arrow Co. has now commenced elevating at the junction of Bush Creek with Arrow River- A good deal of preliminary work has had to be carried out at this claim. To protect the paddock, from an encroachment of the river should a fresh occur, a wingdam of about MX) yards- bad to be constructed, Hamilton’s claim at Big Beach. Arrow River, has also made a start for the season. As work is now being carried on in a fairly narrow part of the river, a fresh on Tuesday last caused some delay, but elevating has again been resumed.
