The weather was fine but cold, and there was- a good -attendance- of spectators-. Anders-on, The same player also scored a brilliant trv, following a run for almost the full length of the ground. Before the senior cup game. was played, the above teams met in a match, which is to be an annual, fixture between those team®, for a cup presented by a Pukerau football enthusiast. The game was evenly contested, and resulted in a win for Pukerau by 5 (a converted try) to 3 (a try scored by R. Brown). Mr A. Jack wavs refereed.

The visitors were entertained by the Country Club at dinner at the Royal Oak Hotel and at ai dance, in the Shotover Hall in the. evening.
