The Rev. C N. Luker and his wife and family, of Bluff, are spending a holiday in their cottage at Arrowtown. Mr and Mrs Simon Sutherland, of Ohaslands, spent - the holidays .with the latter’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr and Mrs Willis Shaw, Arrowtown. Mr and Mrs Alex. Smiley and family and Mrs A. McAskill and family (Dunedin) are spending a camping holiday at Lake Hayes. Mr and Mrs Phil. Lament, of Green Island, are on a visit to Air and Mrs S. Jenkins, Crown Terrace.

Mrs Lumb and her son (Mr G. Lumb) and daughter (Misa -E. Lumb), Miss McLaren, and Mr E. Payton, all of Dunedin, were the quests of Mrs Kemplin, Arrowtown, during the holidays. Mr and Mrs A. W. McFarlane, of Enfield, North Otago, were visitors to Arrowtown during the holidays. They were accompanied by Mrs MeFarlane’s niece, Miss Beta Martin, Knapdale. Mr William Martin, Dunedin, spent the Christmas and New Year hohdavs with his parents, Mr and Mn> William Martin, Arrowtown. Mr and Mrs Wm. Campbell, Dunedin, who spent the holidays with relatives at Gibbston and Arrowtown, rereturned home on Wednesday last. Mr D B. Fowler, of the Ranfurly post office staff, is spending his annual holiday leave with his mother, Nlrs S. Jenkins, Crown Terrace. Miss Molly Grant, teacher of the Blackstone Hill wither part of the vacation with hei tatnei, Mr J. Grant, Arrowtown. Mrs D. E. Campbell, Dunedin, and her two children are on a visit to Mrs Campbell’s parents, Mi and Mrs -«*?. Geer, Arrowtown. Sergeant J. O’Shea, formerly of Arrowtown, who for the past twelve months has been stationed at In vercargill, has been transfen-ed Port Charlmes, where he will replace Seiior Sergeant I. H. Matlneson, who is being transferred to Hawera. Mr W. Lucas, of Dunedin, who spent the holidays with Mr and. Mrs G. D. Beale, Mace town, returned home on Saturday last.
