YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB.

The monthly meeting of members of the Arrow district branch of the Young Farmers’ Club was held in the Council Chambers, Arrowtown, on Tuesday evening last, Mr J. F. McEntyre (chairman) presiding over an attendance of eleven. The speaker for the evening was Mr G. G. Calder, District Secretary, N.Z. Federation Young Farmers' 1 Clubs. After outlining the recent alterations in the constitution of the Federation, Mr Calder gave a most interesting address on “Dried Grass,” for which he was heartily thanked by members. It was decided that the arranging of details (to be submitted to the next meeting) regarding the field day to be held some time in October be left in the hands of the chairman and secretary. After transacting other routine business, supper was handed round, and the meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
