WARATIPU LODGE 1.0.0. F.

A public installation of the X.G. and officers of the Wakatipu Lodge 1.0.0.F, ivk hold In. the Atheneum HaM, Arrow; town, on Thursday evening last. Thera was 1 a large number of visitors from Central Otago lodges, including members- of the Roe of Kawarau and Flower of Vincent Eebekah Lodges. It being the first occasion on -which a function -of ■this kind had been hold in Arrowtown, the installation was witnessed by a largo attendance of town and district residents. The installation was carried out by Bro. B. B .Bowie, (Cromwell). Ditrict Deputy Grand Master, assisted by Bio. W. R. Lloyd Williams, Past District Deputy G.M.; Bro. C. W. L. Williams, Grand Marshall; Bro. E. Russell, Grain! War-

den; Bro. L. C. Ord, Grand Chaplain; Bro. J. Eanvaker, Grand Secretary; and Bro. J. Webb .. Grand Guardian. The officers installed for Wakatipu Lodge lor the ensuing six months were: —N.G., Bro. W. H. Nelson; V. Bro. I McLeay; ©eeretary, Bro. J. S. Gray; treasurer, Bro. J. M. Flahive; Warden, Bro. W. J. Shaw; Conductor, Bro. C. L. Johnston; Chaplain, Bro;. S. B. Stevenson; K.S.S, Bro. C. E. Scott; LS.S., Bro W, Eeid; K.S.NG, Bro. G. Waist; L,S, N.G., Bro. M.' Taylor; E.S.V,G, Bro W. Braden; L.S VG„ Bro. E, Eitzgibbon; 1.G., Bro. Carson. Greeitings and congratulations' were: extended to the N.G. and brethren of Wakatipu Lodge 'by the Installing Master and by members of yisiting lodges. After the installation a mo-st enjoyable dance was held. The music was supplied by Mr Beg. Romans (piano), Mitsis' K. Hales (violin), Mr \V. A. Warring (cornet), and Mr J. T. Lynch (effects), extras :being played by Miss Jackways. . Bros. .. I. McLeay and W. J. Shaw acted . a? M.C.’ts An excellent simper was provided by the ladies.
