Stronach, Morris and Co., Ltd., report for week ending Thursday, 3Uth July, IU3I, as follows; Fat Cattle. —There was a heavy entry, 310 being forward, the quality on the whole being fair. There were a number of pens of prime bullocks forward and competition was good, though prices were easier by from 20 to 25s per head on Last sale’is rates. Extra prime bullocks from £lO to £lB ids Od, prime £l3 to £ls IDs, medium £'J IDs to £l2 10s, extra prime cows and heifers £lO 10s to £l2 10s, prime cows and heifers £7 te £ I J 10s. Eat Sheep.—There was a fair entry. 2,000 being forward, consisting of medium to good quality. These met with good competition and prices were on a par with late ruling rates. Extra prime wethers 20s to 255, prime 18s Od to 20s, medium 15s ho 18s, prime heavy ewes Ids to 18s Od, medium 10s 6d to 13s. Eat Lambs.—There was a small entry and prices were on a pair with late ruling rates, except for unfinished sorts which were neglected. Oats.—The market is quiet and very,, little business is passing. , A grade Cartons are bringing up to 2s 3d on trucks, country sidings, T Wheat.—Very little milling wheat offering aud fowl wheat is still ira plentiful supply, but is dull of sale at up to 4s 9d ex store, Dunedin., Potatoes.—Sufficient quantities are still held in store and consignments are coming to hand freely from Canterbury. Prime tables are bringing up to £3 5s ex store, Dunedin. Chair. —Fair consignments arc coming forward and the demand is conlined to prime bright oaten sheal which is bringing up to £4 ex rail,, Dunedin.

Sheepskins.—We held our usual fortnightly sale on Tuesday and offered a medium sized catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. There was good competition and prices were on a par with late ruling rates'.
