The class were taking a lesson in geography. “ Now, Hilly,” said the schoolmistress, unrolling a map of Egypt, “what great river flows through this country?” Billy was a bright boy, and he immediately answered ‘ The Nile, teacher.” “Very good,” praised the mistress, “and now can you tell me what are its tributaries?” Billy thought hard for an answer, and finally burst out: “Why, juveniles, miss.”
