CROMWELL RACES.

Tthe Cromwell Jockey Okib held its annual meeting- on Tuesday and AVednesday last Tiie weather was fine and the course in good order, the going being! the betsfc provided ton many years. The gate! for the two ■days showed a substantial increase on •last meeting, thus justifying the committee’s' decision to change the date oti meeting. The Trotting Cup on the first day was won by Mr G. R. Haig (Anta-Acido). and the racing cup by Mr J. Faulks' (Blue Dragoon). With' one or two exceptions good fields faced the starter.
