RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Wakatipu Defence Rifle Club will -hol'd their 3rd competition for Vice-president A. Simson’s aggregate prize of £1 on Saturday next, November 6th, ranges 300 and 600 yards. On the same day thei first competition for the President’s trophy will also be held, the ranges being the same as. above Shooting will commence. at 1 p.m. sharp.
Members may now purchase short service and long M.L.E, rifles, with new barrels, at £3 plus freight Members are again, reminded that their subscriptions are now due. The opening shoot of Skippers section wall take place, on the 13th inst. A team will go from here.
