CAUGHT A SEAL
FISHERMAN S FIND IN A LONDON POND. Two fishermen at the \ ale of Health Pond at Hampstead solved a mystery at midnight. For some time residents have declared that the pond is haunted, and facts bore out tho statement, for all through the night strange figures have boon seen disporting themselves in the pond, to the accompaniment of unearthly walls. But (he bravo fishermen decided to risk everything and spend the night fishing at the pond. Just at. closing time they returned to tho local hostelry, and declared they had caught a young seal in (he pond, and to an unbelieving audience they produced their capture. Experts who have examined it declare it to he a seal. How it came there is unknown, and it is suspected that two others arc still in the pond. Tho captive has been christened “ Harry of Hampstead,” and it. is on show in a glass tank.
