GOBS HOBSE BASAAB.
Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report as follows
We held our weekly sale of horses in the above Bazaar on Saturday. The entry was only small, and included some fine looking geldings, the remainder being hacks and harness horses. The attendance of farmers, contractors, and the general public was about the average, but vendors' ideas of value were too high to permit of much business passing under the hammer. However, we were successful in placing the bulk of the entry privately after the sale. The demand is still good for all young, staunch, good working draught mares and geldings, and quotations are much on a par with those ruling early in the mouth.
